Click to watch embedded mediaOn April 14, Bethesda Game Studios is releasing Wastelanders, a free expansion to Fallout 76 that adds a new story and NPCs for players to interact with. The launch trailer gives you a look at some of the new faces you'll meet, along with teases of their story lines and areas where they will unfold.
Fallout 76's launch was botched by technical difficulties, but the wasteland set in West Virginia showed plenty of potential, especially how Bethesda latched onto the region's folklore. I'm hoping that element somehow comes into play within the new storyline. Players will have some say in how it unfolds through NPC conversation choices.
